“TIERRA COMPARTIDA”

Mezcal Marca Negra Espadin (San Luis del Río)
ROOTS Mastic
Ancho Reyes Ancho Chile Liquor
 Bittermans Xocolatl Mole Bitters

When thinking of your philosophy as a brand, I find myself going back to my own ROOTS:

I grew up as a mixed race child in Los Angeles, in a primarily Mexican neighborhood, with flavors both experienced at home and in the streets.

Taking the vegetal elements of the Marca Negra mezcal and the spice notes of the Ancho Reyes, reminding me of salsas my mom made, and the fresh lightness of the ROOTS, bringing me back to having a paleta in Alondra Park on a hot day, and bringing it to my present as an adult and refreshing my palette with a beautiful beverage, a twist on a Mezcal Negroni in a sense.

The name of the cocktail shows respect to everyone, as the earth is “shared land” and we all must remember to respect and conviviate in a productive, positive way.
